Chatterbox is a free iPad app. ANY PROJECT, ITEM, DRAWING CAN BE A TALKING IMAGE. Take a photo, or upload a drawing and then adjust the hotspots to match the desired location for eyes, mouth and chin. Press record to record your voice.  This app is very simple to use. You can find out more here.

To add text or adjust coloration of the image requires a purchase. $$

1. Download the app

2. Once the app is open

3. Take a photo of the project, drawing, image that you want to be speaking.

4. In this app you will see hotspots appear on the image.

5. Drag the eye hotspots to the eyes of the image. There is slight animation in the eye area in the finished product. 

6. Drag the mouth hotspots to the mouth - which in this app allows for a curved mouth

7. Drag the chin hotspot to the chin

8. There is a slider to change the pitch of the voice

9. Press the record button to hear each pitch when modified. 

10. Press the play button 

11. Press the save button.

12. Save to the iPad

13. Can be emailed.  

14. Use a vga adaptor to view on your projector or email and post on the teacher webpage.
